SFI 98(126)   A index 11(10)   K=1(1) – Figures from QRZ  (last week in brackets)
Solar Flux fallen but K still 1, DX conditions much better at the earlier Net time for the ANZO net.
0615z - 0700z  ANZO Net on 7118
From Peter VK3KCD
The ANZO 40mx net commenced at 0615z this week with adequate propagation which improved as the net progressed. There was a severe electrical storm over VK4ZD which caused him some grief on 40 and 20mx. Peter VK3FPSR called in from his mobile rig as all his antennas had been destroyed in the tornados which passed through his area last Thursday. Peter reported that they had suffered no personal damage but there was considerable structural and tree damage. There will be a big clean up and he advised he had been assisted by some local rotarians to clear his driveway. Present were Noel VK2IWT, Phil VK2MCB, Peter VK3FPSR, Bill VK4ZD, Reg VK7KK and myself.
The earlier commencement was successful and was also correct for 20m.
