Many thanks to Peter VK3KCD who provided the following report :-
40mx propagation was favourable last Sunday week and present were Phil VK2MCB, Bill VK4ZD, Doug ZL1BFS and myself. Phil was radiating a fine signal after installing a new Horizontal Loop Antenna. All agreed it was performing well. I shall be absent from the nets this coming Sunday.

1200z - 1300z International Net on 14,293
Many thanks to Pertti EA7GSU for the following report:-
Net started at 1200utc with Mike, N4PF responding as usual directly to
my first call with S8/9. I heard also Malcolm, PA3AHC but not with good
signal. He has problems with his rig and is working on it. At 1220 Coco
joint us with booming as usual S9+ signal but had problems in reading
Mike. A visitor Bob, W1URG from Mass came with S9 and changed reports
with Coco and Mike. Joe, AF1E came at 1232utc with very good S9 report.
We all continued to entice the members to report but as there were no
more takers, I closed the net at 1245utc with the hope to see more
activities next Sunday.
Propagations were very good and no disturbance by the contest at the
CU next Sunday on QRG!
From Immediate Past President Pertti
EU 40m net at 0800utc on 7180 MHz
I called members at 0802utc after an OE-station vacated the frequency.
J - P, F1CFA came back straight away with 58/9 signal. We both seemed
to suffer of malconnection in aerial, J - P in the antenna and me in
Plentiful of calling members but with no response and so at 0819utc we
decided to bag the equipment wishing better success next time.
