Good Morning Bill:
It is a beautiful day here in the New England (down under) Tablelands.
We had a good net on 40 metres yesterday.
Net opened at 0630Z on 7.118 MHz.
Checking in were: Phil, VK2MCB, Bill VK4ZD, Peter, VK3FPSR was mobile, Diane, VK4KYL and Noel, VK2IWT.
A wide range of Rotary topics were discussed. Most notably the expo at the District Conference held in Penrith, NSW.
Phil, VK2MCB and Peter, VK3KCD set up a demonstration station and made contacts on 40 and 2 mtrs.Our respective club activities were likewise considered. A good net with everyone giving and receiving good signals.
At 0730Z we QSY'd to 14.293 MHz.

0750z - VK2MCB Phil from Canberra 3/4 in the qrm
0750z - VK2IWT Noel from Uralla 1/1 here, got 4/4 from Klaus.
0750z - HB9CQS Klaus from Sachseln up to 5/6
0756z - PA0AHC Malcolm from Naarden 2/1 here, got 4/3 from Bill
0801z - WP3F Steven from Porto Rico 1/1 here, Bill got him ok.
0805z - ZL2JPM John from Wellington 2/1 here, got 5/7 from Klaus.
0825z - Net ended.  This net worked well once Bill came on. 
The contesters made way for the big signal.

Non stop contesters, mostly S9+40.
I made a few calls but did not hear any response so I gave up.

AF1E Joe, was net control for our net Sunday but due to contesting and other nets Joe was forced to close soon after opening.
