0645z - 0730z Anzo Net on 7,118
Many Thanks to Peter VK3KCD for the following report :-
Good Morning Bill
Good propagation on 40mx this week with Phil VK2MCB as net control and doing a fine job. As well as Phil Noel VK2IWT, Peter VK3FPSR and myself were present. We were joined by 2 visitors testing portable and home brew installations. VK4ZD and EA7GSU Pertti exchanged 5x5 reports at 0720. Phil and I did a final check on the arrangements for the District 9690 Expo in Penrith on Friday and Saturday March 23 &24. We will certainly be active on 2mx and 70cm and possibly on HF. We plan to use the ROAR frequencies of 7118 and 14293. Hopefully more will be revealed on Friday morning! No ZL ckeckins this week and I think Doug ZL1BFS is temporarily QRT due a QTH change. Disappointing propagation into VK3 this week on 20mx but the VK2 and 4 stations fared much better. I shall be absent from the nets next week and Noel VK2IWT will provide these notes. YIR and 73 Peter VK3KCD

Hi Bill----Our Sunday net finally got it right this time. Our Net control WB7RQG BoB, got the time right but Joe W0TBC and myself Jack, KF5BD tried to check in one hour too soon mostly because I told Joe W0TBC when he called me on the tele , the wrong time.Joe and I came back at the right time and sure enough faithful Bob was waiting on us.We had 7 check ins. Reuben who checked in by Tele, Of the seven Three were guests N6TEA.N7RBP and K0SEX.We missed Jim W1QUO and we failed to hear Pertti EA7GSU. Sorry Pertti we had to change freq because of another net. We ended up on 14.285. A note for Reuben-----please e mail me with the correct spelling for you given name if I am not spelling it properly .Everybody please give us another chance next Sunday and slide up or down before you give up.
