Propagation very poor. K=3, A=22, Flux= 134
0545z - 0630z Anzo Net on 7,118
Many Thanks to Peter VK3KCD for the following report :-
Good Morning Bill
Terrible weather in Melbourne this weekend so was not in Flinders again. Operated stationary mobile in a nearby park but had RF feedback problems on 40mx but was OK on 20mx. Present on the ANZO net were Bill VK4ZD, Peter VK3FPSR, Phil VK2MCB, Pertti EA7GSU and myself. I had copy on all but they had difficulty with my signal! 20mx was better and exchanged reports with Pertti EA7GSU and Bill VK4ZD I heard Klaus HB9CQS at good strength but I think he had little copy on me. My congratulations to Bill VK4ZD on becoming our President on the first and our thanks to Pertti EA7GSU for his encouragement and innovative approach over the past 3 years. Hope to make it to Flinders next week as the weather man has a better forecast!

0630z - 0730z Europe - Anzo Net on 14,293 Long Path
Many Thanks to Klaus HB9CQS for the following report :-
ANZO Net, 06:30z - 07:30z
Conditions on this Sunday were again very poor. Weak signals and at times an extreme noise level (not local) over the entire band.
06:32z EA7GSU, Pertti. 55-59 / 5x. Pertti worked the PAs not heard here.
06:33z VK4ZD, Bill. 55-57 here. Got 55-56. Similar reports exchanged between Bill and Pertti.
06:34z VK3KCD, Peter. R3 here and no contact. Still mobile?
06:34z ZL1BFS, Doug. 23 here. No contact.
06:37z EA/G4HMG, John, 59 / 59 and fairly steady.
06:42z VK2MCB, Phil. Briefly 54 here. Got 55.
06:44z G3LUW, Brian, 59 here, but poor connection between Brian and Bill (ZD).
06:46z PA0SDZ, Les. Briefly 43 here. No contact.
0646z- PA3AHC, Malcolm. Heard 13 here. No contact.
07:12z Net closed.
And Many Thanks to Brian G3LUW for the following report :-
Hi Bill, I hope you are a little less uncomfortable. The 20m net was
difficult. I could read EA/G4HMG, EA7GSU and HB9CQS loud and clear, and they gave me good reports. VK4ZD and VK3KCD were mentioned, but I had no copy at all from them.
0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
Conditions on the 80m net were about the
poorest I have ever experienced. I was running the net and those who called in were G2FUU, G4WRU, G0JWE, G3JJR and G0PCF. There was marked QSB on all signals, with a very high noise level. I gave up the struggle and closed the net at 0826. 73 Brian G3LUW
1200z - 1300z International Net on 14,293.
Many Thanks to Klaus HB9CQS for the following report :-
Transatlantic Net, 12:00z - 13:00z
No improvement of propagation conditions after the ANZO net closed.
12:03z EA7GSU, Pertti. 55-56 here. Got 56-57. Temperature 25C
12:03z G8LES, Mike. 59 for a start. Fading but remained Q5.
12:03z EA/G4HMG, John. 59 here. Got 59+.
- - - N4PF, Mike. No copy here, SSB or CW, but Mike worked Pertti on CW. Got 43 from Pertti.
12:17z YO9BC, Coco. 59 / 59. Coco's TRX power supply down during the ANZO net. Had to find another.
12:50z Net closed

1700z - 1730z UK evening 80-metre Net on 3,694
No report. Or maybe I lost it !
1900z - 1930z N AM Transcotinental Net on 14,287
Many Thanks to Jack Page KF5BD for the following report :-
Dear Bill:
Today we thought we heard Bill, VK4ZD try to check in but we can't confirm it.
It was not VK4ZD. Maybe he will try next week ?
Others were WB7RQG, W0TBC, KF5BD, EA7GSU, WD8QHD, N4EDT and AF1E our net control. My other job is relay station and next week we will try to hear Bill at the beginning of our net when more people are listening. N4EDT heard WD8QHD who was portable in Canada . I heard Pertti on CW at the beginning.
My cataract surgery went well and I can see much better with my right eye.
Best regards to all
Jack KF5BD
