ANZO 40 Mtr net report for 5/2/12
Early net opened at 0630Z on 7.118MHz.
Checking in were Peter, VK3FPS; Phil, VK2MCB; Bill, VK4ZD; Doug, ZL1BFS and Noel, VK2IWT.
Good sigs were exchanged, some Rotary activities reported and some ham fest info was shared.
Phil, VK2MCB gave Doug, ZL1BFS a sample of his mobile rig from his automobile.
At 0730Z the net closed and we QSY'd to 14.293 MHz.

Re Bankok Convention 5/6 May Bill ZD reported the Thai ham club station
sustained flood damage. Good offers of support from Japan and USA with equipment.
Internet wireless link will cost about 1000 Euros.
Pertti reported that Secretary Andy has the new Roar Directory nearly ready for posting.

1327z - Net ended. Good sigs all round but Jim suffered badly from noise and nearby qrm.
The net worked very well generally. Jim said this is Football Day in USA so maybe not
much radio activity later.
