Many thanks to Peter VK3KCD for the following report :-
Good Morning Bill
Propagation good on 40mx this week which was just as well as there was heavy QRN from a thunder storm front over Northern VK2 and Southern VK4. Present were Phil VK2MCB, Peter VK3FPSR, Diane VK4KYL, Bill VK4ZD and myself. I shall be absent from my QTH until after the R I convention in Bangkok at which I hope to meet many other members of ROAR. Phil VK2MCB has kindly agreed to do these notes for the ANZO net in my absence.

Hi Bill
International Net to NA on 14.293.
As usual I used both my 160m loop and the 2 element beam tonight.
I got a 59 report from Mike N4PF and gave him 57 around 1155z.
He was good copy for at least 30 minutes.
I heard W8SOO check in weakly here at 1238 and was hearing G4YZE and HB9CQS weakly also.
At 1245z I turned the beam to the short path to Europe and spoke with Malcolm PA3AHC for about 10 minutes.
He peaked 54 with me and gave me 57.
Klaus HB9CQS called me at 1258 and I was able to give him 54 also. He heard me 43-44.
Regards   73   Bill, VK4ZD.
And Many Thanks to Klaus for this report :-
Greetings Bill,
Lots of wet snow today and the SWR suffered.
After the transatlantic net had closed, I heard Bill (ZD) in QSO with Malcolm. I swung the beam around to short parth and was able to work Bill although I have high mountains in that direction. Got 54. Bill was 44 - 55 with me.
73   Klaus - HB9CQS

1900z - 1930z  N.Am. Transcontinental Net on 14,285 - (14,288 +/- qrm from next Sunday)
Many Thanks to Jack KF5BD for the following report :-
Hi Bill .
Bob WB7RQG opened the net at 1900 UTC using fre 14.285.
Checkins were Jack KF5BD, Ken W8SOO, and one guest Eric W6DEV.
Before long Jack received a call asking him to move off freq..
At that point Bob elected to close the net as he could not operate from Medford with stations on both sides of him.
If other stations tried to check in and were not recognized please contact Bob and tell him your story.
If Bob or myself do not hear you we are sorry.
If we can hear you we will do our best to pull you thru the Sunday QRM and QRN .
If anyone thinks a week day would be a better day for the net please let Bob or myself know.
If anyone would like to serve as net chairman preferably a person not in their eighties or nineties also let Bob know .
We think a younger guy might be able to cope with the competition we have on twenty meters nowadays.

From Pertti EA7GSU with reference to the Transcontinental net on 14,285 :-
Hello all,
A Greek international net on 14285 with S9... S9+20 and 150% modulation holding the qrg. The same net was running a week ago.
Nothing audible from behind that screen!
Happy Easter   Pertti
