Roar Nets April 22 2012
Propagation still very unstable.   K=1,  A=8,  Solar Flux=148.
0645z - 0730z  Anzo Net on 7,118,
Many Thanks to Phil VK2MCB for the following report :-
Good Morning Bill,
Peter VK3KCD is still away so it is again my privilege to provide the 40m ANZO report. Present were Bill VK4ZD, Noel VK2IWT, Peter VK3FPSR, Doug ZL1BFS and Phil VK2MCB (operating mobile). Peter VK3KCD was operating portable QRP (we think in Victoria) but, while we knew he was present, were unable to copy him due to significant QRN. Subsequent to writing this the following was received from VK3KCD by email: ‘Heard all stations OK on 40 in amongst the QRN and only Bill and Noel on 20. Had a thunderstorm just before the 20mx net and really had no copy on the DX so went QRT.’

Many Thanks to Jack KF5BD for the following report :-
Hi Bill,
Do I sound happier ? We finally started and completed a net today on freq 14.287.00. Joe WOTBC was our net control today. We started on 14.288 and then moved to 14.287 where an am buff was holding court but he moved away and gave the freq to us. Nice operator. There were six check-ins one of which was a visitor KD5PUP from Grand Prairie La. His name was Charlie for Daves's information. Other check-ins were WB7RQG Bob, KF5BD Jack; EA7GSU Pertti [ I think I heard him come in with CW ] and AF1E Joe . The net ended 1930 UTC.
