Many Thanks to Jack KF5BD for the following report :-
Dear Bill :
Where is the line ? We used to have a few Canada Rotarians and Mexico Rotarians join in the net but not recently. Costa Rica ? Central America ?
( I don't know Jack.  Last time the sun had a long holiday was about 1650 to 1725. Now called the Maunder Minimum.
The Thames froze over. They had carnivals and dancing and roast-chestnut stalls on the ice.
And Handel wrote "The water music".    We must look on the bright side !  g4yze)
The second Paragraph is the report.
Jack KF5BD was net control today with help from everybody who checked in . Conditions were worse than last week.
Check ins were; W2LGF Reuben, W0TBC Joe, KB6NU Dan and a first for Dan who just installed a beam antenna so he could get heard. Dan belongs to the Ann Arbor , Michigan club of 300. Perti EA7GSU who must have heard net control and checked in via CW. AF1E talked to Perti maybe both ways----CW and Phone what I heard was both.
A challenging 45 minutes for sure. We missed those who could not check in today.
Scribe today was Jack.

Messages Received.
From John EA/G4HMG, by phone, :-
An appeal for UK & European mainland stations to support their 40m net on 7,180 at 0730z on Tuesdays.
This week he had a good contact with Peter G3TKK in Lytham and Malcolm PA3AHC in Holland.
