Phil is to sit his licence upgrade on Wednesday and we all wish him well.
Bill has his first tower concreted in and upright, now to get an antenna on top!
Pertti EA7GSU heard on CW and reports exchanged with VK4ZD again.
Phil and I also had a readable signal from Pertti.

Many Thanks to Jack KF5BD for the following report :-
Dear Bill:
First I need to apologize to John W8AUV for not giving him a chance to check in Sunday.
Too much noise and static but usually I can hear John when he is portable .
All of us should listen for others trying to check in. I was the relay station and will try to do better.
Joe W0TBC was net control and checked in Joe AF1E who had to leave us due to a storm sorry
Joe we missed your good signal. Next was W1QUO Jim with a super signal today.
Net Control asked Jim to bring in Pertti EA7GSU from Spain.
They both had good signals and had no problem copying each other.
Then Jack KF5BD who brought in Reuben W2LGF from California.
A good net but a challenge up and down part of the time.
Bob Butler WB7RQG is on a Motor Home trip.

Thanks again for your reports.
After a long pause on 14th July I was happy to be able to listen to the ROAR net
at my summer cottage. The antenna is only a modest trap - dipole, and the conditions were not good.
I heard with a difficulty HB9CQS, Coco from Yugoslavia, with moderately strong signals.
W1QUO was amazingly strong. G4YZE was weak but readible. John EA/G4HMG was there but not readible.
Pertti was inaudible.
I called a couple of times with no luck. On 24th July the condition were even worse. I only heard HB9CQS and W1QUO. Hoping for better conditions and the opportunity to raise my yagi.
