Propagation quite good.  K=1,  A=8,  Flux=85.

0600z - 0630z  Anzo Net on 7118.
Mant thanks to Peter VK3KCD for the following report :-
Good morning Bill
The ANZO net on 7118 KHz attracted Bill VK4ZD, Peter VK3FPSR, Noel VK2IWT, Phil VK2FPDB and myself. Bill has had potentially flooding rains but an email from him this morning advised he is OK at the antenna farm at Lockyer Waters and at his residence in Gatton. Both are on high ground and should be OK. Phil noted that at his QTH at Googong 30 or so Km East of Canberra it has been wet also and that the reservoir which supplies the majority of Canberra’s water has been closed to boating so his kayak has remained at home. I had good copy on VK4ZD and VK2FPDB, poor copy on VK2IWT and VK3FPSR was within my skip zone.
Until next week YIR and 73 from Peter VK3KCD.

0730z - 0900z  Europe - Anzo Net on 14,293 Long Path.
Many thanks to Klaus for the following report :-
Greetings Bill,

The ANZO net is still hampered by rather poor conditions, especially between the ANZO stations and Northern Europe - and by QRM from a strong heterodyne signal.

07:40z  VK4ZD, Bill. 53 , later 57. Bill had to leave before the band opened properly to EA, G and NL. See below.

07:40z  EA7GSU, Pertti. Good strong signal here, but it took until 08:07z before Pertti was able to work Bill (ZD).

07:45z  VK3KCD, Peter. 33 for a start, improving to 56 before Peter faded again. Got 53 - 55.

08:10z  EA/G4HMG, John. 59 both ways. Good signal but difficulties in working VK. We also met Diana, G4MVV.

08:20z  VK2GWK, Henk. 58 both ways. A surprise to hear Henk since at this time Peter had faded out.

08:28z  JM2HBO, Terusan. 44 here. Got 57. Henk worked Terusan also.

08:33z  G4YZE, Bill. 34 for a start, increasing to 59.

08:43z  VK2GWK, Henk came back again and now worked other European stations. 55 here and not as strong as on first visit.

09:11z  PA3AHC, Malcolm, active on the net since 08:15z, but not previously workable. Now 44 here.

09:11z  Net closed

Bill (ZD) reported 25 mm of rain on this day. Studying the weather radar plot Bill expected more rain before the day was over. Since the ground was very soft, Bill wanted to leave while there was still some daylight. Luckily Bill's car has 4-wheel traction.

Here in Europe John and Diana were forced to cancel their golden wedding celebration

(in England on December 17 - due to a severe snow storm. )
