After you had left, I bluffed my way through net control. Pertti was a great help and maintained the contact to Malcolm,
PA3AHC, who was skipped out here. Tommy, G2FUU, joined us briefly at 13:25 UTC. He was 59+10 with me.
At 13:33 UTC the net was closed.

Many Thanks to President Pertti for the following report :-
Hi Bill,
I had rx open at 1859z and heard Jim, W1QUO with 58/9 talking with Joe,
W0TBC. He was only 31. I got 5 7/8 from Jim.There was uncertainty of
the official time of the net and as nobody else appeared we decided to
be back an hour later.
2001z Jim called Joe again. Jim was now 59 and I got the same in
return. Joe was the same as earlier. Jim heard Bob but lost him and I
had no copy. About 15min later Joe was 51 and coming up but we closed
the net as no more participants reported.
No further news from Jack, KF5BD.
After preliminary Xmas greetings we closed the net at 2017z.
In anticipation of more participants next Sunday,

Messages Received.
From Communicator Editor Richard :-
Hello All,
Several weeks ago I asked for articles for the coming edition of the ROAR Communicator. Well, we are fast approaching the December 15 deadline and we still need a few articles for the January 2012 edition.
Remember that in the last Communicator issue, Pertti asked that members submit articles about hobbies you may have in addition to amateur radio. This is exactly what I am looking for at this time. Even 100 or 200 words would be great. If you have photos, even better.
Please send your submissions directly to me at richspin@gmail.com on or before December 15, 2011.
Thank you very much to those of you who have already sent in your stories.
Richard Spingarn, TI7/AA2UP   Editor

From President Pertti / EA7GSU to our friends in South America :-
Hi Bill,
Desde el 16 hasta el fin del més Dicienbre estoy en qrg 14293kHz a las
1800 horas utc CADA DIA CUANDO POSSIBLE. Yo llamaré a todos los
rotarios en español. ¡Responde por favor! Pertti, EA7GSU

From John EA/G4HMG :-
Dear Bill,
We had a very good net this morning (Tuesday) at 0800 GMT Pertti and I represented Spain, Ian GM4JAE came on with a good 5/5 for his first appearance on the net. Our faithful supporters John G7OAI and Don G0JWE made 5/7 and 5/6 but sadly could not hear each other and we had a visitor LA7VE Dag at about 5/6 although he was very strong with Ian. I make that a total of 6 stations with 9 check ins the week before. Propagation seems very good around europe at that time so it would be great if a few more of our friends could try a call.
73.............John
