0645z - 0730z Anzo Net on 7,118.
Many Thanks to Noel VK2IWT for the following report :-
Hello Bill:
Peter VK3KCD is having some computer problems so he asked me to send in the 40 metre Net report for 11/12/11.
There much noise on the band due to severe storm activity in our part of the world. The net opened at 0645Z. Checking in were
VK2MCB, Phil; VK4ZD, Bill; VK3KCD, Peter and VK2IWT, Noel. One guest checked in VK2NNN, Darren from Bondi Beach. although using a simple wire antenna he could hear us all and gave us 5/9's or better. Due to an approaching storm near his QTH, Phil had to leave early and go QRT. Although the copy was difficult at times we were all able to communicate with each other.
The net ended at 0730Z as we QSY'd to 14.293 MHz for the ANZO-Europe Net.
