0715z - Net closed.  A very interesting net.  I think Bill and Henk had spoken to
Rob ZL1RD earlier  - before I got the opening, but I did not hear him.
Henk had a busy day on the contest but having problems with his log software (N1MM)
They had an impressive display on the Rotary Shelterbox.  Henk got some pictures.
Bill VK4ZD had been up at 4.30 and away to prepare the Rotary Market.  (Dedication) !
Bill is putting up his big tower with a Yagi on top later this week I think **
He got good reception of Pertti and some intermittent sig's from John EA/GHMG.
Pertti is planning to attend the  R.I. Convention,  21/25 May 2011. at New Orleans.

(Webmaster VK4ZD - Pulled down a 45' tilt-over tower to repair and ultimately erect with a new 10/12/15/17 interlaced yagi on top)

0800z - 0900z  UK 80-metre Net on 3,694.

1225z - Net closed.  Jim was greatly troubled by contest qrm until 1200z
when things became quiet but with deep fading on most signals.
Jim is now using a clarifier programme called "Noise Away" which
has improved readability by two or three R points.
Mike N4PF gave me 5/8 at first but disappeared before we could
have an extended contact.
Many thanks to Don and Malcolm for their support.  Pertti got them but I did not.
Pertti kept up about 5/5 throughout.  He is looking for support at New Orleans in May.
All in all the net was hard work.  We missed Klaus !
