Many thanks to Peter VK3KCD for the following report :-
Good Morning Bill
The 0500 ANZO net on 7115 KHz had myself, Peter  VK3FPSR and Bill VK4ZD. We were joined by Alan VK3HGA a past president of the Rotary Club of Kerang but now no longer an active Rotarian. He was mobile in the Little Desert National Park in the far west of Victoria and was putting a fine signal into VK4. As a past Rotarian we invited him to join ROAR and he has the web address to obtain information about ROAR. Two other non Rotarian stations called in. Next Sunday this net will run from 0600z to 0630z to coincide with the change in time of the ANZO Europe net.

0530z - 0700z Europe - Anzo Net on 14,293 Long Path.
N.B. This net re-timed   0630z - 0800z from next Sunday October 31.
Many thanks to Klaus HB9CQS for the following report :_
Greetings Bill,
A fine net, good signals, but much noise and interference. The heterodyne whistle on 14293 is really a pain especially when, like today, combined with severe splatter from an 8 kHz bandwidth station on 14290.
Pertti was in contact with Bill (ZD) from about 05:45z. I started listening and calling CQ RI net from about 06:15 but nothing happened until ....

06:26z  VK4ZD; Bill, was heard 55 increasing quickly to a remarkably steady 59. Got the same from Bill.

Abt. 06:30z  VK-station calling net on 14.293.350. Replied on 14293.000 but no contact.

06:37z  PA3AHC, Malcolm. 58 here. Got 59. Malcolm then faded out here, but got a 53 from Bill (ZD).

06:43z  VK3KCD, Peter using old antenna. It still works. Peter was 58 then and Q5 for the next hour.

06:46z  EA7GSU, Pertti. 59 most of the time. Got the same from Pertti.

06:57z  EA/G4HMG, John. 22 increasing to 57. John was reading the VKs but unable to work them.

06:59z  G4YZE, Bill. 22 here when first heard, increasing to 57. Bill managed to work Bill (ZD).

07:08z  DK1II, Franz. 57 here. Franz told us about the admirable project behind his recent Pacific trip. Great!

07:43z  Net closed

Hoping that Gerald would be QRV from EA8, Bill (YZE), Pertti and I called him, but no reply.

1130z - EA/G4HMG John from Benissa 5/9
1130z - PA3AHC Malcolm from Naardeen 5/9
1137z - VO1NP Nate from St.John's NF a solid 5/9
1141z - EA7GSU Pertti from Genalguacil 5/9

1143z - SM0DMJ Karl-Erik from Nyneshamn 5/9+

1228z - Net ended.  An interesting net with great propagation for a change.
Malcolm PA3AHC armchair copy too.  Malcolm is off to Australia at Xmas
and hopes to meet Peter VK3KCD in Flinders.
And Nate VO1NP over the nine & enjoying a rare opening to chat.with everybody.
For some reason Mike N4PF was not really readable though giving me 5/7 ??
But a great pity Jim W1QUO was unable to join.
A phone call revealed that he is fine but having a battle with the technology.
It all trips off when he hits the transmit button. With no sight he needs help with that one.
Alan Rogers (ex ZE6JG) - by email  - reported he got us 5/9 on his hand-held. He lives some miles
from Jim but he will follow up and help if necessary. Many thanks Alan!

1800z - 1830z  N.AM. Transcontinental Net on 14,288.
And many thanks to Treasurer Bob WB7RQG for the following report :-
Hi Bill,    Small group joined the net today.  Jack KF5BD, Pertti EA7GSU and I WB7RQG.  Joe W0TBC, was net control. I could tell that Pertti was there but couldn't copy.  It has been a long time since I could even hear him. Joe could copy me and Jack just fine.  Made several tries to reach anyone else with no luck so the net was closed on 1835Z.        73,    Bob, WB7RQG
