Good Morning Bill
We had myself, Peter VK3FPSR, Bill VK4ZD and Reg VK7KK on the ANZO net on 7115 KHz.
Very quiet on 14293 KHz until 0643 when I first heard Klaus HB9CQS who came up to 5 and 5 by 0650.
Unfortunately he experienced severe rain static and he had not come back on by 0700 when I went QRT.

0530z - 0700z  Europe - Anzo Net on 14,293 Long Path.
Many thanks to Klaus for the following report :-

Greetings Bill,

In spite of fairly good conditions, it was a small net. It was also Jamboree weekend. A very fine programme and for once I almost enjoyed the interference. Here is an extract of my log.

06:00z  Started listening. Noise and only weak signals. Thought for a moment that I heard Terusan.

06:33z  Gerald, EA8CPN, answered my CQ RI call, but then faded out. Heard John, EA/G4HMG.

06:44z  VK4ZD, Bill. 57 at first, dropping to 44, but 59 on second peak after net closed. Rain, rain.

06:52z  Static rain here giving rise to 59+ noise forced me to close down temporarily.

07:04z  EA7GSU, Pertti. Mostly 59.

07:05z  VK7XX, John, friend of Bill and Diane. 59+20 both ways. John uses 4 el. wide spaced quad.

07:12z  EA/G4HMG, John. Around 57 here. John also worked Tasmania.

07:24z  G4YZE, Bill. Very poor copy here.

07:48z  Net closed. Continued with Bill, VK4ZD, now 58 here and increasing to 59+ both ways.

07.54z  Signed with Bill (ZD). QRT

It was wonderful to have John on the net from Tasmania. Hope that this will be the first of many such visits.

Looking at last weeks VK - QSOs, I plan to be QRV next Sunday on 14293 from 06:15z and onwards.
