Many thanks to James K1AKE for the following report :-
Dear Bill,
Alan and I were both with dad from 11 to 13 UT on Sunday morning.  We
heard you briefly around 11:30, and I think you were responding to our call.
I also think Pertti heard us in Spain.
Around 12:15 we had a brief two-way exchange with your colleague in Switzerland.
Otherwise the only station we heard was the maritime net controller in Florida.
It seems that the band conditions were rather poor.
Alan and I will be trying this week to optimize the reference antenna
for the noise canceling gizmo, and making some adjustments in the Beverage setup.
The Beverage did  not seem to improve reception on Sunday, which was disappointing.
The ground was wet, which may not have helped performance.
Best. Jim Moran jr..
Thanks again James.  We await developments with interest.

1700z - 1730z  UK evening 80-metre net on 3.602

1800z - 1830z  N. Am. Transcontinental Net on 14,288.
I won't have a report for you re our sunday net because I was not able to get on the net due to company arriving.
Jack KF5BD
Thanks Jack, you picked the right day to have company !  Radio was dismal.  Maybe better in September !
