Propagation still
very fragile. K=2,
A=3, Flux=85
0530z - 0700z Europe - Anzo Net on 14,293 Long Path
Many thanks to Peter
VK3KCD for this report :
-
Good Morning Bill, An interesting day on the nets. 40mx was very busy with the RD contest in VK but we got a clear channel. Propagation was on our side and I copied all participants. First heard at 0500 was Peter VK3FPSR, being my first contact with him due to his proximity, then Doug ZL1BFS, Bill VK4ZD and Reg VK7KK. The ANZO Europe net at 0530 commenced with VK4ZD and ZL1BFS at good strength and then Klaus HB9CQS called in with a good signal Q5 S4 rising to S7
Bill G4YZE was copied
here after 0600 with 4x3
both ways.
Bill VK4ZD and I will be in Canberra for a Rotary Conference next weekend so I will not be on air but Bill will be mobile.
I
may not be in Flinders
the following weekend so
most probably won't
speak for a couple of
weeks
73 Peter VK3KCD
And many thanks to
Klaus HB9CQS for this
report : -
Greetings Bill,
This Sunday's ANZO net
offered a surprising opening
to VK3 and that was about
all.
05:32z Heard Bill, VK4ZD,
and Peter, VK3KCD, but not
strong enough to contact.
05:38z VK3KCD,
Peter, suddenly jumping to
56-58 and staying there. It
was not the spider beam.
Peter used the old antenna.
Got 56-59 from Peter. 05:39z VK4ZD, Bill. Peaking at 45 here. Got a Q5. Bill and Diane demonstrated amateur radio to German exchange student Catrin.
05:39z ZL1BFS,
Doug. At best 32 here. Doug
had the same problem.
06:51z G4YZE, Bill.
Never above 54 here. Peaking
55 on Bill's RX. Signals
coming and going.
06:56z EA/G4HMG, John.
Mostly 59 both ways
with deep QSB.
06:57z EA8CPN, Gerald.
Now back on 07:05z Net closed.
