From Bill VK4ZD great news of another new member,  via Graham VK4BB and Jack KF5BD : -
From Ray Wells VK2TV  : -   amradop198@yahoo.com

Hello All,
Thank you to Graham Kemp for pointing me in the direction of this group.

My wife (Suzanne) and I have recently become members of West Kempsey Rotary Club, Rotary District 9650, becoming the club's first couple. My wife's membership category is Banking - Customer Service Specialist, and mine is Community Radio due to my heavy involvement as President, technician and presenter for our local station - http://www.tankfm.org

My Amateur Radio activities precede obtaining my licence in February 1969, having followed the traditional (then) path of SWL and then Amateur Operator.

My AR callsign is VK2TV and my principal activities for the last 14 years has been with packet modes. I ran the local BBS with 6 radio ports for 13+ years until last October. I now run an APRS Igate for 2m and 30m, and run a Satgate as well. Now that my only HF radio activity with packet is on 30m I will look towards activating other bands for voice - somewhat of a first in over ten years!
I look forward to a mutually rewarding association with Rotary and ROAR.
Regards     Ray Wells     VK2TV
