1145z - Net ended.  Jim had 8c and looking like autumn.

Jim also had to tell us, sadly, that due to health problems he and Claire have to
move to more restricted accommodation as part of an "assistance program".
Jim has got clearance to erect an antenna there, but it is in an apartment complex
and not really compatible with an 8-element Log Periodic on a 60-foot mast, Hi Hi.
It may be several weeks before Jim overcomes the technical problems and gets
back on the air - with an antenna however modest.
They move at the end of this month and Jim will be on the air with his big blaster
for the last time this Sunday September 27.  Come on and wish them well !

From Chuck Graham KI6DCD
In brief :-  Following his kidney transplant in March Chuck attended for a rejection
check-up at UCSF Medical Centre on September 14.
He gives a graphic description of a problem arising with taking a sample for biopsy.
It was very nearly the death of Chuck. He spent 3 days in Intensive Care but now
he is back home and in pretty good form.
Best wishes from us all Chuck !
