From Douglas Birt ZL1BFS :-
I have been listening every week for about a year.  In that time it was twice, I think, that I worked one of the Europeans.
About four times i worked a VK or once, ZL1RD.  The band is absolutely dead, and getting deader at our evening time (your morning).
Like you, I did hear some voices on the ROAR frequency last Sunday, but I have no idea who they were.
But I will keep listening every week, and one day it will suddenly work.
Thanks for the logs.   73   Doug ZL1BFS   PP Rotary Club of Gisborne

From Peter Doughty G3TKK :-
Sorry to be absent over recent weeks but life has been quite hectic!  I
have had to fit Ham Radio in around so many things my time has been
stretched thin everywhere......
I will make a try at getting into one of the nets soon.  ................
I still have to find time to put up a new antenna as
I have 'fried' my WARC vertical through the inevitable carelessness of
the elderly in control of a linear!
Trust you are well yourself.  Hope to make it this w/e.

(Peter has had a couple of cataract ops, also family had health problems. Good luck now Peter!)
