ways. Then they were
gone.

lost you. Nothing else
Spoke to Henk during the
week, so I knew that he
would be absent today.

to report that he had spent
the day overhauling the
tri-band beam. It is
now ready for transport to
Birmingham for the
Convention station in June.

In brief.....Nate's son
Frank Penney is on an oil
rig in the Terra Nova
oilfield off the
Newfoundland Banks. Last
Friday one of their Sikorsky
S-92A helicopters crashed
near
the Hibernian Platform with
the death of seventeen of
the eighteen people on
board.
This is the same machine
which took Frank out on duty
a week ago. Frank was not
involved in the crash but
the social consequences are
a devastating blow to the
tight-
knit community in
Newfoundland. He knew most
of the people who died.....
