From Peter Doughty G3TKK  :_
Sorry to have missed a few weeks on the Nets, been away and also seemed to be busy with chores around the house and family after a long layoff when I was unwell.
Now off (Friday) to Antigua for 2 weeks holiday and hope to be on the air from there as V25TK but on CW only,
HF bands from 30 through to 15 so long as I can get some unobtrusive wires from the bedroom to some palm tree or other!
Will keep an ear open for any of the ROAR team.  Heard G3LUW making an SSB contact with the K5D expedition this morning with his super signal.
Will report in again but sorry to be an irregular attendee these days

And from President John W8AUV,
Dear ROAR Fellowship Member,
With this email and the attached Addendum Two, we welcome 17 new members, say good-bye to nine silent keys, and inform you of changes to the data of 17 current members.
If you have moved (changed your address), telephone number or email address, please let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE as the 2009-2010 Membership Directory is now in its final stages of preparation before going to print.
Worldwide distribution is scheduled for May 2009.
This is also a good time to check your name in the Membership Directory and see if you are current with your dues.
If the number behind your name is less than a “9” you are not current.  The “9” represents 2009.  If your number is “9”, think ahead and contribute now for 2010 and beyond.
Consult page 22 of the current 2008-2009 directory for membership/dues information or go to our ROAR web site
www.ifroar.org and click on “Not a member” on the home page
which brings up membership application and dues information.  It would be best to complete the form and send it to the address shown or to your area Vice President.
We will update your membership data upon receipt.
ROAR will be at the Birmingham (England) Rotary International Convention this coming 20-24 June 2009.
Come to operate GB2RI (the official Convention Station) and attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and welcome our new Fellowship President, EA7GSU Pertti Kause.  Make your reservations now!!
We hope to see many of you in Birmingham during the Convention.

Yours in Rotary Service,    John E. Maier, W8AUV   ROAR President (2006-2009)
