From Coos VE2GTI,
Sunday afternoon  22 Jul
Hi Bill,
I was VERY pleasantly surprised to hear this morning that a Rotarian in Portugal had joined ROAR!! What is his call sign CT7....?? And his name/QTH?
I feel I must share the following with you. I worked for 6 years in the 'Provincia  de Moçambique' of Portugal' (later 'Estado') on the East Coast of Africa.
I was stationed in the port of Beira (right on the 20th parallel south, in the Districts Manica and Sofala).
Beira had (and still has, I think) a Rotary Club, which I joined in March 1973 as my first step into Rotary.
I attach the banner  of the Club (both sides) as a curiosity.
73's Coos, VE2GTI

(He is Vitor Manuel da Silva, CT1BJZ, QTH Odivelas,
I need a new e-mail address for him.  Will ask him next time he comes on.-  g4yze )
