Propagation still very poor.  K=2,  A=8,  Flux=70
0800z - 0900z  Europe - Anzo Net on 14,293 Long Path.
Heard the Wellington beacon 229 about 0815z but it went down later.
0845z - EA/G4HMG John from Benissa 5/9
0845z - HB9CQS Klaus from Sachseln 4/6
0855z - G3TKK Peter from Lytham 4/5 here
0901z - EA7GSU Pertti from Genalguacil 5/9
0919z - Net ended. A good net in the end.  Pertti in trouble with
a defective Yagi but OK here on his 80-metre ground plane.
0900z - 1000z  UK 80-metre Net on 3,693.
G2FUU Tommy in charge from Nazeing, Essex, supported by :-
G3LUW Brian,  G3JJR John,  G4WRU Mike,  G0JWE Don,  G0SQH Derek.
M0BDI Ralph,  G0MMO Norman,  G4MVO Jim and G4YZE Bill.
A very lively net.  Mike G4WRU doing well after his hip op. Much walking & swimming.
Derek, and John had a good conference about the Convention station at NEC.
Brian has secured the loan of a new 200w transceiver from a main dealer for the NEC.

Jim still in winter problems but improving.  Minus ten, foggy and some snow.
Great to hear Nils again.  He had minus 4 and 15cms snow.
Also wonderful to hear Nate still doing well.  First contact in some time!
Bert had temp. up to zero today, first time in a month. Been down to -21c at nights.
Great he got a good contact with Peter G3TKK, a fellow medical doctor.
1900z - 2000z  UK evening 80-metre Net on 3,695.
G3LUW Brian in charge from Devon with  G0SQH Derek,  G0JWE Don,  M0BDI Ralph,
EA/G4HMG John,  G3JJR John, G2FUU Tommy and G4YZE. Very noisy conditions
but they kept it going for 25 minutes.

Dear Fellows:
As I sent you my e-mail, we had RAOR-J's 30th anniversary Net Control on 27th Jan.'09 on 7MHz.
It was our 9030th net control from the start.
The first net control of ROAR-J has started on 27th Jan. '79 
 CNDX wasn't good but we used internet connections too.  So, totally 25 stations involved on the net.
 Messages from following ROAR committees were introduced on the net.
