From Peter VK3KCD :-
Good Morning Bill
Difficult propagation last Sunday and worked Teru JM2HBO with reasonable ease and Bill VK4ZD with difficulty. Also heard Klaus HB9CQS briefly at 3x2 and then 1x1 unable to copy yourself or Pertti EA7GSU but heard Martti OH6SM just before 0900 at 4x2 gave him a call but no response.
I noted some discussion regarding using attendance on the nets for a “make up.” I have inquired about this from those who should know and the answer seems to be that if it is an official advertised activity of the fellowship then it counts as a “make up”. I suspect it would be best not to go over board!
I would like to wish all those active on the ROAR nets a very Merry Christmas and good DX and prosperity for the New Year.
A high light of the year was the Birmingham Conference and special greetings to all I met and worked with at that time.
And finally many thanks Bill for your regular emails keeping us all informed of activity.

About G2FUU Tommy:-
Olive reports this morning (Thursday) that Tommy is making good progress in the
rehabilitation unit.  Still having some throat trouble, a result of the temporary pipework,
but he hopes to be home next week.
Meanwhile he is having a Merry Xmas "in dock."
