Thanks to Leslie/PA0SDZ for the following report:-
Hi Bill,
The Anzo-net last sunday was not bad. I had QSO with Henk, VK2GWK, after a long time. He gave me 42 and he was 51 with me. Trying to call Peter, VK3KCD in vain, VK4ZD, Bill, came back. He was 31 here at 08.27, but improved to 44 at 08.40! Later on the test to use the short path was not a success here, I could hear Bill, VK4ZD, but the band was very noisy and I even heard someone transmitting music! No QSO possible from Holland. Pertti was, as usual, 59 +20 and he said I was bending the needle of his S-meter, so I suppose he heard me.
Very nice to see your weekly news, Bill.
Rotary-greetings and 73 from Leslie, PA0SDZ.

1800z - 1900z  N.Am. Transcontinental Net on 14,288.
Thanks to Joe/AF1E for the following report:-
Hi Fellow Rotarians,
I called the net on Sunday 1 KHz down because of a DX station just above 14.288.  I worked him just before the net and heard him work a station in Oregon.   It seemed that propagation to Minnesota was unlikely.  I did hear a station on CW with a good sig before the net but Pertti did not come back to my call.
In sum, I was the only check in this week.
Hope everyone has a great Rotary week.
Joe AF1E
