Messages Received.
From Klaus HB9CQS on Thursday morning.
Greetings Bill,
Just for your information , I spoke briefly to Henk this morning on 14,274 and for half an hour with my friend
Len VK2BLZ, - all between 0630z and 0700z.
73 de Klaus HB9CQS

Re Birmingham Convention station.
Thanks to Peter VK3KCD, Bill VK4ZD and Pertti EA7GSU for comments.
Agreed you would not want to try a vertical there, much too noisy!
My view?  I think you must use the tri-band beam on a rotator with a linear capable of
delivering our maximum permitted 400 watts to the aerial terminals.
On 20m it will be OK with regular propagation to Europe, East coast America - and VK on a good day.
Also there might still be a few patches of sporadic E on 10m to keep you interested.
