Had a good contact with Rob ZL1RD from 0635 to 0700z when the QSB started to take us out.
At approx. 0645 to 0650z I heard a weak signal at S1 and was unable to identify the callsign.
Rob had no copy of it at all. Otherwise nothing else heard.
Apart from 14mHz being very quiet all is well here and hoping that as the equinox arrives
propagation may improve!    73   YIR   Peter VK3KCD.
(Great to hear Rob has got his mast repaired - ed)

1800z - 1900z  UK evening 80-metre net on 3,695
G3LUW Brian in charge from Devon.
Six on the net including John EA/G4HMG via Skype through the
station of Don G0JWE.

Messages Received.
From Don G0JWE and others.
Much traffic on the visit by Don and John G3JJR to Birmingham NEC Convention site.
Propagation next June is still unpredictable.  I guess it may reach SSN 20 giving solar flux about 80
which is still quite poor. We can make a more accurate estimate in a few months time.
Do we want to go to the expense of installing a beam, or settle for a trap dipole on the (high) roof ?
This decision will have considerable impact on the ROAR budget.
