0730z - 0830z Europe - Anzo Net on 14,293
Long Path.
N.B. This net re-timed 0800z
- 0900z to meet propagation.
0815z - Klaus HB9CQS 2/3 also John EA/G4HMG 2/2
in the noise
0825z - EA/G4HMG John up to 4/3
0830z - EA7GSU Pertti 5/9
0840z - HB9CQS Klaus up to 4/5
0843z - VK2GWK Henk 3/2, up to 5/8 by 0900z
0848z - VK4KYL Diane and Bill VK4ZD 4/3, up to
5/7 by 0900z.
0910z - Net ended. Nothing at first but finished
in great style.
Pertti had been up all night on the CQ WW CW
Contest. Got 360 contacts.
Klaus was first to pick up Henk at 0840, 4/3
both ways !
Henk had been working Bill VK4ZD and Peter
VK3KCD earlier.
I did not hear Peter but Bill, and Diane, came
up fine at the end.
0900z - 1000z - UK 80-metre net on 3,694
G3LUW Brian in charge from Lifton, Devon.
On the net : - G0JWE Don 4/8, G2FUU Tommy 5/9,
G0SQH Derek 5/8, G3JJR John 5/9
G4MVO Jim 5/9, G0MMO Norman 4/7 and Bill G4YZE.
A very interesting net in good conditions.
1230z - 1330z International Net on 14,293.
1230z - W1QUO Jim from Leominster MA 5/9 with
some qsb
1230z - G8LES Mike from Alton 3/3 here, Jim got
him quite well
1230z - EA/G4HMG John from Benissa 5/5 with qsb
1239z - G0JWE Don from Derby 1/1 but John got
him well and Jim "got most".
1245z - VE2GTI Coos from Montreal 5/8 but not
copying me much.
1253z - W0TBC Joe from Stillwater MN 1/1 here.
Jim had poor copy
1300z - HB9CQS Klaus from Sachseln 3/3 here but
very good with Jim.
1315z - Net ended. Both Jim and Coos had high
noise and difficult copy.
Coos is looking forward to his birthday on 5th
December.
John left at 1308z. He & Diana having visitors
to lunch.
Not the easiest of nets. We hope for some
improvement soon !
1900z - 2000z UK evening 80-metre net on
3,694
I tried briefly without success. Thanks to
Brian G3LUW for the following report : -
Hi Bill, Condx very poor again. Tommy and I had a
reasonable conversation.
Dr.Alan G0BCE called in about 5 & 7 but Tommy could not
hear him.
As we were closing Don G0JWE called and reminded us he
would be away for a couple of weeks.
