0600z - 0700z  Europe - Anzo Net on 14,293 Long Path.
Nothing heard here though John GW4KVJ heard Klaus in qso with Henk.

No Europeans heard on the ANZO net this morning.
06:44z  VK2GWK, Henk. Solid copy both ways. Henk was 57-58 for a start and never below 54.
06.44z  VK3KCD, Peter. Unfortunately only 11 here, but Henk had good copy.

Twelve on the net in rather noisy conditions.
 
1130z - 1230z  International net on 14,293
1135z - W1QUO Jim from Leominster MA 5/7 going down to 3/3
1135z - VE2GTI Coos from Montreal 5/7, gave me 3/3.
1135z - G3LUW Brian from Devon 1/1 here, got "solid copy" from Jim.
1136z - SQ5NAN Marius from Warsaw for a report. 5/9 here.
1136z - G4HMG/p John from Dartmouth 1/1 here also got "solid copy"
1150z - VO1NP Nate from St. john's NF 1/1 here, got 4/4 from Jim.
1155z - EA7GSU Pertti from Genalcuacil 5/8
1202z - I gave up at this time with Jim's signal going into the noise -
But apparently moving over into Switzerland. Thanks again to Klaus.
Only able to join the International net briefly:
12:03z  EA7GSU, Pertti. 59+ here. Got 59 before I had switched the linear amplifier on!
12:05z  W1QUO, Jim. 56 here. Got 55, - now with the amplifier delivering 750 watts.

As said conditions terrible. Heard your voice only when you gave it to me.
1. At one moment I heard John, G4HMG loudly and ploop! Gone.
2. Can't give you any reception figures.
3.Temp. 8 C.  Rain (all week end) 'Thusly'  grey sky. -----
4. We had a speech contest for top High School students during our lunch last Tuesday. Great fun.
The winner got $1,000 from a legacy from a PDG, Alain Lidiard, member of our Club years ago. It was great fun.
We have it every year. There were seven contestants.
Make a note I am not here from 20 May till 6 June.

Rather noisy with long skip coming in well.

I have just been notified of the death of Brian Prew, G4FJA, and have written a letter of condolence to Mrs Prew on behalf of the members of ROAR.
