Propagation still very fragile.  K=3, A=9 Flux=70
 
0600z - 0700z  Europe - Anzo net on 14,293 Long Path.
I missed the nets today.  Many thanks to Klaus for the following report : -
Greetings Bill,
A very slim net this Sunday morning and no VKs.
06:39z  EA7GSU, Pertti. Between 45 and 59 depending on beam direction.
06:42z  G4HMG/P, John. 11 here
After the net had closed, I worked a few OZ stations and then:
07:49z  G4HMG/P, John, called me. 59/59 from John's mobile home. John reported briefly on the AGM.

No reports received.
 
1130z - 1230z  International Net on 14,293.

We had a good net with great assistance from Cees PA2X 5/5 to 5/7,
and Pertti EA7GSU also 5/5 to 5/7. Rag LA5HE also joined us with a great signal, 5/5 up to 5/9+10 at times.
We also got Nils SM4CSF 4/4 up to 5/7 and Nate VO1NP 4/5 to 5/5 with a great report of his club's Rotary
activities in Newfoundland.  We also had a visitor - K9YD.
We missed the G stations.  Hope you enjoyed your AGM get-together at Cheltenham !  (Thanks Jim, we did!)

Jim reported a good net but no sign of Pertti EA7GSU or any other Europeans.

Hi Bill,  Seven on the net. Don was 5 & 9 with your spare rig. The others were G2FUU, GW4KVJ, G4WRU, and G4HMG/P.  
Also Peter G0ESB called in from Somerset. Reasonably quiet conditions.

The sad news that our veteran member Bill Blatchford G4JVW died on Monday.
"Barnstaple Bill" had been a faithful participant in our nets, particularly the VK nets
for many years.  Our sympathies go to his widow Sylvia.
 
N.B. At our Roar-in-RIBI AGM at the weekend in Cheltenham I passed on the honour of
Regional Vice-President of Roar-in-RIBI after eleven very enjoyable years.
Noel and other officers of ROAR please note the new Vice-President of Roar-in-RIBI is : -
Mike Sanders G8LES. Mike is a professional radio engineer, young and enthusiastic.
Very experienced in radio links and TV repeaters in the Amateur Service and a past
Assistant District Governor in Rotary.  He has organised communications for various
Rotary and Rotaract conferences and made videos for them and is extremely well
qualified to guide our activities in the coming years. We wish him all success.
