Good morning Bill
Having just got our new district handbook I note that the 2009 R I Convention is to be in Birmingham in June.
It is possible I shall attend and would be interested in being involved in any ROAR activities.
Could you supply contact details please?
(Mike Sanders G8LES, our Regional VP, is in the early stages of organising the station. He is on mike.sanders@create-media.co.uk)
With regard to the Sunday ANZO net Henk VK2GWK, Bill VK4ZD, Diane VK4KYL, Rob ZL1RD, often Roy DU9/G4UNL and myself are regular attendees.
Last Sunday propagation was lost by about 0645z and was very patchy and as far as I am aware no Europeans.
Trust you are in good health my greetings to the European end of the net

N.B. The next RI Convention will be held at the National Exhibition Centre,
Birmingham, England, June 20th to 24th 2009.
The registration fee for the Convention will be 280 US dollars until December 15th.
After that date it rises considerably.

P.S. My apologies for the next 2 weeks. We are off to Orkney to see the relatives.
Should be back for the nets on July 27.
