Dear Bill,
 Conditions generally poor.
Very strong growlers and high static most of the time starting at 11:20 UTC through 12:30.  ---  (Jim's report log also)  :---
From Jim, W1QUO - Rotary Club, District 7910, Fitchburg, Mass., USA visited by the Mayor of Kiev, Germany and 4 associates.
Also hosted District Governor at same time.  I am looking for ROAR contacts in Kiev, Germany or vicinity.  Can anyone help?

Also from Coos VE2GTI after the net : -

Hello Bill,
Conditions were bordering on annoying. this morning.
Temp. 20 going to 24-25 --sunny, some cloud. Strong W. wind

1. My e-mail address in the Roster, I have just discovered, has a mistake.
Correctly it is: ve2gti@videotron.ca.
Could you mention this in your round-robin e-mail this week? Thank you!

2.   24 September we fly to Europe and land in Madrid 25 September. I sent John G4HMG an e-mail according the ROAR Roster
but last week I heard that he had not received it. Could you please obtain the correct e-mail for Spain or does he get it directly from
from the e-mail according to the roster? Perhaps you could ask him to send me from Spain so that I see his e-mail address.
(John still gets his e-mail on johng4hmg@yahoo.co.uk  even though he is in Spain - but he will be in the UK for the month of August.)
We return to Montreal 1 November.   73's  Coos, VE2GTI

1800z - 1900z - UK evening 80-metre Net on 3,694
G3LUW Brian in charge from Devon. Eight on the net in good conditions -
 - including John EA/G4HMG via a Skype link through the station of Don G0JWE.

Messages Received.
Many thanks to Jim, Klaus and Brian for reports on the nets during my absence up north.
While in Kirkwall I met our veteran member Bill Wright GM3IBU.
Sadly Anne, his xyl, is now in a home afflicted with Altzheimer's Disease.
Looking on the bright side Bill now has more time for radio and has got himself an FT2000D.
If he can get a 20m wire in the air - one which can withstand the Orkney gales - we might hear
him on the nets one of these days.  I look forward to that Bill !
