It sounded fine here. He had 10 inches of snow on the ground and another 10 inches forecast.
Coos had minus 16c and strong winds.
John in Spain had a beautiful day, +18c.

1900z - 2000z  UK evening 80-metre Net on 3,693.
EA/G4HMG John from Spain in control due to long skip conditions.

Bill
Just a note to wish you and all on the ROAR nets a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Shame about the propagation into VK3 at present. I have observed that European signals are just appearing at the end of the net and VK2 and 4 are still strong but ZL has all but gone.
This suggests that this far south the band is not yet open. However hope is always alive and perhaps in the New Year propagation will improve.
Again my good wishes for the festive season and to quote our dear departed Laszlo “stay vertical”
Hope to see you in Birmingham
