re. R.I.
Convention
in LA
15/18
June
2008.
Hi John
and all,
I’ve
offered
to
handle
the
QSL’s
for the
coming
convention
since I
can’t be
there as
I’m on
dialysis
3 days a
week.
I have
designed
a face
that I
like and
it is
now time
for your
comments.
It is
the
convention
logo
with our
name and
call
sign
added.
The “W”
prefix
was not
available
so I
reserved
the
K6R
in case
you were
wondering.
I’ll put
the info
up on
QRZ.com
and ask
for SASE
and
print
the QSL
on my
color
printer
on card
stock to
keep the
cost
under
control.
I’ll
also
check
out eQSL
in case
anyone
is using
that
although
I don’t
think
many
will if
they
want a
souvenir
card
although
that can
be
printed
by the
requestor
and save
the
postage.
With the
band
conditions
the way
they are
I don’t
expect
many
foreign
requests.
Where
else
should
we list
the
availability?
John how
many do
you want
for the
convention
booth?
