No VKs this morning and only a small
European net. Here is an extract of my log:
06:20z CQ RI Net. No replies. The band was
almost dead.
06:50z PA2X, Cees. 59. Fine signal, but
Cees quickly dropped to my noise level and then disappeared entirely.
07:00z OK1XFL, Librec, 54 - 59 with me.
Visitor, living N of Prag. Asked for QSO in German and Cees and Klaus
complied.
07:08z OZ1JK, Jörgen. 59 / 59. Visitor, old
friend of Klaus. QSO this time in Danish.
07:15z G4YZE, Bill, 56 - 59. Interesting
chat about history of the Orkney Islands, - interrupted by our CQ RI Net
calls.
07:22z G4JVW, Bill. 56 - 59. I am sad that
we could not make it a triangle QSO. Thanks for calling in, Bill.
07:30z Net closed. Continued with Bill,
G4YZE, until 07:39z when Bill QSYed to 80 meters.
During the past week, I worked VK2BLZ,
Len, regularly around midnight (22:00z). On poor evenings only 55 / 55
or even 45.
It is difficult to get through the US East coast / Central America QRM
curtain. Looking forward to our morning QSOs being possible again.

Coos still waiting for a tube for his
linear. Had Presidents change-over this week.
Per greatly enjoyed Salt Lake City. He and
his long time partner Anita celebrated by
getting married in the Courthouse,
"somewhere in Utah". Very Romantic. Congratulations to both !
W0TBC Joe was up with the lark in Minnesota
and going off to play golf !
G8LES Mike had a good session getting good
reports from everybody.
