Messages received.
I asked Bill VK5CV how he was as we had not
heard him since December.
He sent a great reply including a sort of "Life
History" which will appear in a future Communicator I am sure,
but I give you all the following extracts for
now ; -
Thanks for your
thoughts. I do appreciate you keeping in touch with me.
I am as well as my 94
years allows.
There are 15 in our mens'
choir. I enjoy practice on Monday mornings and we sing regularly to
people in the
various retirement
groups, as well as at various community and church functions.
On Thursdays I take my
portable keyboard to Day Care - a community health service for the
oldies.
I play and we all sing
the music we loved years ago. On Tuesday evening, Shrove Tuesday
social evening,
we sang "Don't Have Any
More Mrs. Moore". The music of old England is still popular.
I have a problem
maintaining my ham radio equipment, there is not another licensed
ham within 40 kilometers
of me and the rotator on
top of the 32 meter high mast is a problem.
Hopefully propagation
will improve soon and I will be there.
73 for now,
Bill vk5cv
