From Jim W1QUO.
Dear Bill,
Our ROAR member, John Cook, KK4IX, suffered a fall and broken hip bone about 2 weeks ago.
As of August 5, he is healing well but will not be able to get on the air for the next few weeks.
John wants to be remembered to his friends on both the International Net, as well as the Transcontinental Net.
We will all be looking for you soon, John.
                         73,  Jim  W1QUO

From Coos VE2GTI : -
Dear friends,
Contrary to previous advice, -----   the planned diversion to another internet provider did NOT take place on August 1.
Therefore my e-mail address remains   coosjl@ca.inter.net
Kind regards     Coos

From John G4HMG
Dear Friends,
We shall be moving to a house in Spain at the end of August, leaving Clayhidon on 24th August.
Our Email address will remain as johng4hmg@yahoo.co.uk and we also hope to be contactable on Skype.
Our new postal address will be      C/Apartardo 82,   03720 Benissa,  Alicante,  SPAIN
We expect the Telephone number to be    0034 965 731 701
We are not sure how long it will take to set up Broadband which we are told is available.
We are sure we will miss all our friends back here but we hope that if you are in the area of the Costa Blanca you will take the opportunity to visit us.
The area is about 8 miles inland below the Sierra Bernia a fine range of mountains and is near the small inland town of Benissa.
Calpe at about 8 miles is a busy coastal resort and commercial centre.
Our very best wishes,
Diana and John
