Ralph EA6/M0BDI did well from his central
location in Majorca and
was able to provide plenty relays.
Klaus had guests to entertain but he was a very
good signal here today.
President Laszlo operating with John G4HMG, had
the rare experience
of a good qso with his protege Vitor in
Portugal. Vitor is too close to work
from Laslo's home location in the Algarve.
David EA5ALK reported a great party on the
occasion of his thirteenth
wedding anniversary with Valerie last Saturday.
"Married at thirteen hundred hours on the
thirteenth of May thirteen years ago !"
(Just proves that number thirteen is lucky for
some.)
Ralph topped that, reporting he and Sally
celebrated their 59th
anniversary on Friday. Secretary please note !

1239z - Net ended. A very interesting net
despite erratic signal levels.
Jim reported severe flooding in the North
Eastern states with ten inches
of rain on Wednesday and thirteen inches on
Thursday.
Bert VE3BGG also had flooding. About six inches
of rain per day for ten days !
Coco had to curtail his visit to Portugal due to
an emergency back home
but he had a very enjoyable stay in Faro. He
will e-mail Laszlo.
Per was mostly inaudible here but he had a good
conversation with
Laslo about the Convention station, aided by
relays from Jim.
The station will be operational from the Bella
Convention Centre in
Copenhagen from June 11 to June 14 probably
using Per's call OZ5PD.
John Maier W8AUV has posted the station logs,
guest book, etc to Laszlo in time
for the Convention Station operation.
1800z - 1900z UK evening 80-metre net on
3,693.
Twelve on the net in good conditions.
Laszlo thanked everyone for a very enjoyable
stay, with particular
thanks to John G4HMG and Diana for a wonderful
time in glorious Devon.
