Bill and all his family.
Henk reported a very fine day there with 27deg.and sunny.
Henk just about recovering from a very hectic weeks involvement with
their District Conference, attended by about 550 members.
Don was able to get a word with Henk about the Communicator.
Brian VK5CO reported they had had quite a lot of problems which
prevented any radio activity but things are better now and he hopes
to be on the nets more regularly. Brian is going to NZ this week.
John EA/G4HMG/p enjoying a very good location at Ronda. sends 73 to all.
Ralph M0BDI/EA7 delighted to get on the net from Majorce with his new dipole.

From our Communicator Editor Don G0JWE
Hi Bill,
I wonder if you will be so kind as to include a note in your weekly net report that
we have placed a copy of the "Spring 2006" Communicator on the ROAR web site:
http://www.ifroar.net
This has been accomplished with the help of Bill (VK4ZD) who added it immediately
after I sent him a copy in PDF format. (Service Above Self).

Many thanks,
73 de Don (G0JWE)

From Bill Main VK4ZD.
Hi Bill(s) :)
Just a quick email to let you know that I have to go to Adelaide (VK5) as my father is ready to leave us all.
Don has given me the new Communicator which is now up on the web site.
Alizah is now a member of the Rotary Club Of Salisbury D9630.

(In the event Bill's father passed away on Saturday night.)

From Klaus HB9CQS a report on the VK net similar to mine, but he hears better !
And with the footnote :-
On Sunday, 2006 April 02, (Battle of Copenhagen, 1801) I will be in France, north of Bordeaux.
Hope to join the net for a few minutes as F/HB9CQS, but may be too close to the Gs, EAs and CTs.

From John G4HMG.
Hi Bill,
We picked up you report here in Ronda. Good to see general activity. Unfortunately we had no
response on my Tuesday net, Probably poor propagation. Will keep checking as we go round.
Best wishes to all..........John   PS I worked a ZL 5-7 this morning.

From Don G0JWE.
Morning Bill,
I sent condolences to Bill Main (VK4ZD) and he has replied that the funeral is on
Wednesday and he flies back to Brisbane on Wednesday night.

From Coos VE2GTI
Dear Bill,
That (starting International Net at 1130z) would mean that I have to get up at 6.15 AM on a Sunday such as today.
That is a bit much! So, I passed; perhaps just as well because there was a contest on and the racket unbelievable.
I assume that your change is for one week only in that our clocks go ahead one hour on Saturday/Sunday 1-2 April.
73 de Coos.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There was a bit of a hiatus on the 26th as your clock change got out of sync with ours.  We sync with Europe now HI
Things should be back to normal this coming week-end.
We can always re-schedule the net if you find it too inconvenient. The limiting parameters are no propagation earlier
and too much QRM later -and fitting it round UK lunch.!     See how it goes HI.
Does anyone else have any comments on net timings ?
