President Laszlo was admitted to hospital in Portugal on Wednesday, Initially for an appendectomy

Thx Bill for this info.  I hope to have QSO with the station.  I’m listening now and will do so later as well.
I have forwarded this info to all ROAR members in my address book.     73,  John W8AUV

Subject: RI Convention Station Copenhagen.
Greetings all,
The Convention Station is now operational 0800z to 1600z using the callsign OZ5PD.
I had a good qso with the station this morning (operator Peter VK3KCD).
They do not have facilities for 40m or 80m.  The three element tribander for 10, 15 and 20m
is on a 60 foot mast but the rotator is not working.  The beam is stuck on a Northwest heading,
good for North America - but it gets into the UK alright.
Frequencies are  : -  20m  -  14,293  15m  -  21,403  10m  -  28,785.

Laszlo is still in hospital in Portugal. Helga hopes he will be home during the coming week.

From Cees-Jan PA2X
Worked the station OZ5PD yesterday, sunday, with a firm 5/9 on 14.293 at 08.50 UTC.
Very short skip on 20 meter this weekend.
Normally we would not be able to work Denmark from the Netherlands.
So I'm very pleased it was possible to speak with Peter in Copenhagen.
Hope they will succeed in working many Rotarians !
Regards and 73   PA2X - Cees Jan   The Netherlands

From Klaus HB9CQS
Good morning Bill
Just to tell you that I had a QSO with the RI convention station, OZ5PD, on Tuesday, shortly after 1100z.
RS 55 -58 here in spite of their beam direction being fixed at NW.
Will try again today. The station will be QRV after 08:30z.
73           Klaus, HB9CQS

And a final one from Peter VK3KCD  after "about seventy QSOs." over the Convention period.
Dear Bill
Today is the last from the Bella Center and things will be quite quiet this afternoon so will probably go
QRT after lunch unless there is amazing propagation. Finally worked Jim W1QUO yesterday with the
essential help of Brian G3LUW.
My thanks to all who have participated and especially to Per OZ5PD and the Copenhagen Amateur
Radio Club who supplied the equipment!
It will be sad to leave Copenhagen tomorow morning as I have enjoyed my week here very much.
My thanks Bill for your invaluable assistance and hope to work you from VK when conditions improve.
73 to all
