Propagation not too bad.  K-index 2 at first 0 later, Solar Flux=80
 
0800z - 0900z  Europe - Anzo net on 14,293 Long Path.
0805z - HB9CQS Klaus from Sachseln 2/3, up to 5/6 at the end.
0805z - G4HMG John from Devon 2/1, up to 4/5 later.
0820z - VK5CV Bill from Waikerie 1/1, up to 4/5 by 0845z.
0820z - VK2GWK Hwnk from Nelson Bay 3/3, up to 5/6 by 0830z.
0830z - DU/G4UNL Roy from Mindanao 2/1 here, Klaus got him 5/7
0826z - VK2IWT Secretary Noel 1/1 here but Henk had some copy earlier.
0840z - PA0SDZ Les from Wolle 2/1 here but Henk copied OK.
0851z - VK3KCD Peter from Flinders 2/1 here, Henk got him 5/6
0900z - Net ended. Propagation is coming earlier but not enough for me yet.
John G4HMG did rather better down in Devon, getting VK5CV up to 5/6.
Henk reports beautiful weather, 30c not much wind and not much humidity.
Had a great Australia Day and some very good fund-raising for charity.
Henk plans to have a few days holiday in Tasmania next week.  He may
not be back in time for next Sunday's net  Also Bill VK4ZD will probably
still  be away in Perth.for another week.
 
0900z - 1000z  Uk 80-metre net on 3,694.
G2FUU Tommy in charge from Nazeing, Essex.
Sixteen on the net in good conditions.
 
1230z - 1330z  In ternational Net on 14,293.
1230z - W1QUO Jim from Leominster MA 5/9 here through strong splatter from contesters.
1230z - UX4UA Nick from Kiev, very strong 5/9+
1233z - G4HMG John from Devon 3/5 in the splatter but Jim got him very well.
1241z - SM4FCX Rune from Hudiksvall just 3/4 in the noise.
1243z - VO1NP Nate from St.John's NF 2/1, up to 5/5 later.
1245z - HB9CQS Klaus from Sachseln 3/5 in th qrm. Jim got him well.
1250z - OZ5PD Per from Jutland 4/5 here but Jim got him well.
1255z - VE3BGG Bert from Cambridge ON 5/6 here, Jim had some copy.
1304z - YO2LWS Nelu from  SW Romania 4/5.  Not Rotarian.
1315z - OH6SM Martti from Lapua 5/9 here and Jim got him well.
1328z - Net ended. A very good net in the end despite very heavy  qrm at first.
Jim W1QUO reported very heavy splatter. Temp +5c, rain forecast.
Nick UX4UA had minus 3c and "horrendous qrm". Otherwise all OK with him
Rune SM3FCX had one good over but then lost in qrm. It improved later Rune !
Klaus got "across the pond" very well but not good copy here.
Likewise Per OZ5PD, but I gather he is expecting co-operation from Copenhagen
amateurs with the Convention station. Per will provide a transceiver if required.
Bert VE3BGG reported unseasonably warm weather plus 7c and crocuses
up six weeks earlier than normal.
Martti OH6SM had minus 5 and some snow. He got a very good chat with Jim
toward the end of the net.
 
1830z - 1930z  UK evening 80-metre Net on 3,694
I missed this one due to Euro-qrm here S9+
John G4HMG did much better getting five on the net in noisy conditions.
