later. Flux 82.

Long Path.
0645z - YO9BC Coco from Ploeste 5/6 at first
rapidly down to 3/4 in deep QSB
0645z - HB9CQS Klaus from Sachseln 3/4 here,
could not really read me.
0655z - G3LUW Brian from Devon 3/3 here.
0730z - Net ended.

index was 5 and there were no signals on 20 M for most of the afternoon.

John G3JJR and Brian G3LUW shared control in
changing skip.
Thirteen on the net in very unstable conditions.
1130z - 1230z International Net on 14,293.
1130z - W1QUO Jim from Leominster MA 5/9 down to
2/4 at times.
1130z - YO9BC Coco from Ploeste 5/9
1130z - SM4CSF Nils from Falun 5/6
1135z - G0JWE Don from Derby 1/2 here, got 5/4
from Jim.
1138z - W8AUV President John from Dallas TX up
to 4/5 at times.
1140z - VE2GTI Coos from Montreal PQ 5/6
1157z - VO1NP Nate from St.John's NF 1/2 here
1201z - KF4QBE Joe from Bradenton FL 1/1 here,
Jim had no copy either.
1210z - Net ended by all signals just fading
out.
Jim was in good voice. Reporting 20c and rain.
Jim has posted details
of his Super Log Periodic antenna to Coco as
requested.
(Secretary Noel phoned Jim. Noel
has bought a Summer Cottage in Ontario.
Meanwhile he is visiting his
daughter in Pittsburg, then going to San Diego and
flying back to Australia on
August 28th for the summer "down under".)
YO9BC Coco reported "terrible hot" wx, 40c in
the shade. He had very severe QSB.
VE2GTI Coos had 19c and rain forecast for all
day. Off to church !
President John W8AUV was not really readable
here but Jim got him alright.

1800z- 1900z UK evening 80-metre net on
3,693.
Ten on the net in good condtiions.
Don G0JWE was able to report that Laszlo
continues to make good progress.
Still taking the tablets and returning to
hospital for a check-up in two weeks time.
