Henk had spent a great weekend on the river with their annual party. Back to
nature,
doing their own open-air cooking and all. He had the bad luck to suffer a
breakdown
of his outboard motor at the end and had a tow back. These things happen !
Bill VK4ZD was coming through well with only 100w from his car transceiver
into
the delta loop. Bill is keeping better but Diane is still having some health
problems.
Their weather dry and 30c but they have had some rain. They need more.
Pertti EA7GSU is arranging a great "Roof Raising Party" to celebrate the
roofing of
his new house in about two weeks time.
Chairman Laszlo made good use of the opening to promote the RI Convention
and
has achieved some good results.
