Coos VE2GTI. Minus 8c. Hospital Wednesday 2nd Feb for completion of
hip replacement surgery. Coos will
be off the air until the end of March. His club, Montreal Lakeside,
is funding a team of lady rowers, all breast
cancer sufferers, for entry to the great Dragon Boat Regatta in
Vancouver.
Bert VE3BGG reports his club is beautifying the large Country Park in
Cambridge as their Rotary Centenary
project. The park was donated to the city by a Rotarian many years
ago.
Chairman Laszlo reported the Roar booth space at the Chicago
Convention has been reserved for us by the
organiser, Tawanda Falconer of RI.
As to the insurance/idemnity question we await the outcome of
discussions at the International
Assembly meeting at Anaheim which is scheduled for 18th to 25th
February.
