0822z - VK4ZD Bill from Gatton 2/1, up to 5/5 by 0845z.

0852z - Net Closed. Great to hear every body having a go despite poor conditions.
            Klaus got a contact with Bill VK5CV and Bill ZD got Noel VK2IWT but I
            could not hear either.  New Year Greetings exchanged by all.

            Jim reported re. the tsunami disaster that Michael Sharpe, (son of Roar Founder Byron Sharpe)
            had confirmed his close friend has apparently been lost in Phi Phi.
            Chairman Laszlo got a contact with Treasurer John KK4IX, via Brian G3LUW, asking him to
            forward $500 to the tsunami disaster fund. John confirmed he will forward this tomorrow, Monday.

I called several times into a very noisy band with much continental long skip.
