Propagation very good but bands full of contesters.
0630z - 0730z Europe - Anzo Net on 14,293 Long Path.
0720z - VK4ZD Bill from Gatton 5/5.
0723z - G4HMG John from Devon 3/3 here, got 5/5 from ZD.
0728z - HB9CQS Klaus from Obwalden 4/3 here.
0750z - Net ended. Bill and Klaus managed some discussion
about Klaus's planned visit to VK-land but it was tough going.
with the qrm and qsb. Thanks to all who tried!
0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,692.
G3LUW Brian in charge at first, retired early due to ATU failure.
John G4HMG took over but had to leave to go to church.
John G3JJR took over at half time and survived to the end.
Sixteen on the net in good conditions.
1130z - 1230z International Net on 14,293.
1130z - W1QUO Jim from Leominster MA 5/9 here, rather over-matched
by a Polish contester who was 5/9+60 here. The contester insisted on
standing his ground and we could not find a clear spot to move into.
1135z - Net abandoned. Better luck next week!
1800z - 1900z UK evening 80-metre net on 3,692.
Called for 10 minutes but got no response. The band was still very
busy with contesters including strong signals from mainland Europe.
