From Don G0JWE from his cruise ship off New England.
"Receiving all your net reports whilst in New England - my cruise card gives me free Internet access, Hi Hi .
Rang Jim but he was out so left a message and sent him an email.
Nate is my next contact but the ship charges $5 a minute for ship to shore calls - guess it will be an email.
Weather has improved as we move NE, Halifax is GB autumn day.
73 to everyone
Don (Daphne is out Whale watching!!!)

From Tom Burns KN9H.
I heard the 11:30 net  well while camping in northern Illinois  with an
end-fed wire, mostly horizontal,  thrown up into a tree  but for the most
part my signal was skipping over the  U.S. control station. We will be
travelling in England  early next year and plan to use an Icom 706 from atop
a rented car and a roll-up dipole to check into the net as we did from
Germany in August.
I heard John Betts say he had a new e-mail address.   Can you let me know
what that address is?                  (It is   johng4hmg@yahoo.co.uk  )
Tom Burns, KN9H
