Their wedding anniversary is next weekend. Bill hopes to be back in time for the net !
Henk's signal very good as always, the Steppir antenna really doing it's stuff.
Bill VK5CV copied Mario's great signal. About the only Euro he did copy !
Also Pertii/EA7GSU complained Mario's signal bent his S-meter.  Can't be bad !
Pertii was in a temporary house on his new site. Builders starting on his new house.

Jim reporting blizzard conditions with 30cms snow and another 30cms forecast.
Gale force winds and very cold.  (Jim is getting his e-mails better with audio read-out.)
Coos VE2GTI had a Dutch friend Helmi, with him but conditions did not let us talk.
Coos will be with us next Sunday then into hospital on Feb 2nd for completion of hip
replacement surgery after which he will be off the air for 6 to 8 weeks.
After 1310z the net split into two parts, American and European.
I could hear - faintly at times - Jim working Nate and Joe while John and Brian
were working Laszlo, Coco, Rune and Nils, all equally faint here. Really wierd!

1900z - 2000z  UK evening 80-metre net on 3,693
I called for a few minutes into a very noisy band., as did John G4HMG.
We did not hear each other or anyone else so gave it up.
Not our most successful day.  Blame the sun !

"Hi,   I have been unsuccessful in previous attempts to contact R.O.A.R. officers.
Therefore, I am now sending the same note to the persons directly from the web page
to see if I can get info including how to join R.O.A.R.  At present I'm a member of
Akron-Newstead (NY) club in District 7090, and am a Past (1974-75) District Governor
of District 7120.  I've been a ham since 1976, and have just recently put up a 40/80 dipole
(my vertical bit the dust!).

73,   Les, WA2GUP "
